Why I left the Democrats

I’ve never tried to make this a secret, and I’ve said this since day one of this race. I’ve been a Republican. I’ve been a Democrat. Both parties have let me down and failed the American people. At the end of the day, I’m an Independent because I have always worked to put our country before any party. The parties got us into the mess we face today, but the American people seeking solutions, not divisive labels, will get us out of it. I am proud to be free from party bosses so I can answer only to the Idahoans I serve.
